advise的用法及意思
advise作动词，主要有以下三种意思。
（1）totellsomeonethatwhatyouthinktheyshoulddoespeciallywhenyouknowmorethantheydoaboutsomething劝告，忠告，建议
例如：Sheneedsomeonetoadviseher.
她需要有个人给她出主意。
You'restronglyadvisedtotakeoutmedicalinsurancewhentravellingabroad.
强烈建议出国旅游要购买医疗保险。
（2）tobeemployedtogiveadviceonasubjectaboutwhichyouhavespecialknowledgeorskill向……提供专业建议
例如：Headvisesusontaxmatters.
他向我们提供税务咨询。

（3）totellsomeoneaboutsomething通知
例如：We'lladviseyouofanychangesinthedeliverydates.

Advise是可数还是不可数
这个单词在绝大多数情况下都是用不可数名词用的，但也有特殊情况：
当该单词做“（商业上的）通知、公函、诊断、(政治、外交上的)报道、消息”讲时，是作为可数名词的；
举个简单的例子，表示来自国外的报道时就用复数；
当它做“忠告、劝告、建议、磋商”时是不可数名词。
